Weather Mommy

Fake Eyelashes and Baby Food

Megan

My day job is at CBS Chicago as the morning meteorologist.  You might also remember me from my time in New York or Miami.  I’ve also filled in on Good Morning America and The Early Show.  I’m an ex-dancer, a current CrossFit junkie, and a mom.

Lana was born in February of 2010.  I went into labor in a live truck covering the aftermath of a blizzard.  It seemed a fitting way to go for a weatherperson.

Willow and Leo (known as the Superbabies) were born in June of 2012 after a month on bedrest (9 days in the hospital).  Willow was born naturally – Leo was a C-section.  That was fun.

Lance is the hubby.  Eternally patient with my crazy schedule.  He’s the one who’s up with the kids every morning.  They eat their breakfast while watching Mommy on TV.

I love my family and I love my life.  This is our Journey.

Enjoy them now because they grow so fast. Just bought new gym shoes for my almost 11 year old daughter and they are a half size larger than my wife’s shoe size! Where did the time go?! :)

  2. You have a wonderful family, Megan. And it seems a very happy one as well!! Love that you are sharing your family with us. Thanks!!

Hi! I just stumbled upon your blog when researching what to do to keep my 10-month-old twins safe with me at the pool along with my other two children (boys, age 4 and 6). Thank you! I now have a plan that will bring confidence, as I could totally relate to your concerns leading up to a solution. Life sure is busy! Best of luck!

Hi! Haven’t seen you on CBS this week–June 3, 4. (Ed Curran gives good weather, but flunks in the curves department!) They haven;t canned you along with Susan, have they? Tell all your FB friends if you’re okay and on vacation!

Hi! I came across your blog and I am a mother of a soon to be 3 year old and 9 month old twins. I specifically saw your blog about taking your kids out regardless of how hard it is and I feel the exact same way. We go to the zoo, library, etc but I am wondering if you have any tips on braving the pool with the three kids at this age. I’m trying to figure out the logistics of getting them all to the pool regularly this summer. Were you able to do this? There are water slides at our favorite pool that I’ll need to catch my three year old at the bottom of. Just wondering if you have any advice or ideas! Thank you so much for your time!! Your blog is so inspiring!
